Search Engine Optimization

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

Tonight we had Ryan Mendenhall and Boyd Norwood from ioVentures, a Utah SEO company discuss Search Engine Optimization.  They had so much valuable information and the questions just kept coming.  Even after the class ended, the students stayed around for almost an hour asking questions.  It was such a great learning experience for everyone.  There is nothing like the excited energy and enthusiasm of students as they see how the pieces fit together.  I wish them all the success in the world.

Internet for Small Business Owners - Affiliate Marketing & Blogging

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Tonight we had two great guest lecturers.  Janet Meiners and Paul Wilson spoke on blogging and affiliate marketing.  You know it was a great class because folks stayed around to talk about what they learned and the ideas just kept coming.  Thanks to Janet and Paul for a wonderfully inspiring lesson.  I’ve taken plenty of notes and hope to hear them speak again.

That’s one of the great things about teaching entrepreneurs.  It’s just a fantastic high when the concepts start clicking and the possiblities just seem endless.  The teacher and the student connect.  The parts and pieces fall into place.  I wish I could bottle that feeling up and share it every time someone asks if the course is going to be worth the time and money.   YES, IT’S WORTH IT!!!
